Our Referral Process 

Knowing how difficult it can be to entrust a young person’s care to someone else, we work closely in partnership with local authorities and families. 
 
For those that we work with, our commitment to high quality care is a guarantee that they have come to expect. 
 
We aim to treat all referrals with the urgency expected, and follow the appropriate paths in order to ensure that relevant care is always provided.

This rigorous referral and assessment policy aims to match each young person to the correct service from the outset.

This will maximise the potential for placement stability and ensure that the young person’s needs are met and any risks are managed appropriately. 
 
We provide a minimum staffing ratio of 1:1 for young people with emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. Where needed, 2:1 staffing can be provided as part of a safe solution to maintain placements and to develop meaningful care plans. We also have waking night staff to support all the young people within our care.
